I was born in 1961 in Baden-Baden/Southern Germany. At the age of 19 I
went to los Angeles and New York. I started to study photography at the School of
Visual Arts in New York and continued my studies at the Photography School of Bavaria
in Munich back in Germany.
After graduation, I worked as an assistant for different fashion photographers
in Germany and the U.S. Then in Germany I started to work on my own in the field
of fashion and commercial photography.
My interest in photography slowly moved toward travel and portrait photography.
I went to Australia, for three months and worked on editorial assignments.
Eventually I moved to Paris to work on assignments for German publications. Besides
the U.S. and Europe I have traveled to countries India, Indonesia, Molukkas, Jamaica,
Caribbean Islands, Nepal, Himalaya and finally Iran.
