Kourosh Salehi's paintings

The Iranian
Born in Iran in 1963, Kourosh Salehi trained under his father. At the
age of twelve, Salehi joined the studio of a local painter to study classical
persian painting.
In 1977 he won Iran's "Young artist of the year" award and
a scholarship to study in Europe. He studied a Waltham Forest College of
Art, North London Polytechnic under Krome Barret and Kingston University
where he obtained his masters degree in 1991.
Salehi has participated in group and one man exhibitions in the Middle
East, london, Paris, Venice and Amsterdam. These paintings were shown at
the Kufa Gallery in London last summer and featured online at Wobbly Bridge.
