Call to artists
Art show in Los Angeles
We are seeking artists for an exhibit sponsored by Society of Iranian
Women in Los Angeles. The show is titled "unveiling". The subject
is "Hejab: a form of suppression or liberation?".
All mediums are accepted, and open to Iranian artists from around the
world. The deadline for entry is January 26, 2000.
To enter you must send us the following steps:
1) A maximum of 5 slides or photos of your work, on each work include
your name, title, size and medium. If you are proposing an installation,
please send detailed outline of the work. Video work must be on VHS and
no longer than 15 minutes.
2) Also include a resume and a short bio of yourself, your phone number
and e-mail address .
3) You must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for us to notify
you and to return your material.
You will be notified by February 17, 2000.
