Rumi classes in northern California
The Society of Iranian Professional in San Francisco's Bay Area is sponsoring
series of Molavi Rumi/Irfan classes which will be held in Santa Clara starting
from Sunday Sep. 19.
Dr. Massihpour, who is a Rumi Expert and Professor of Tehran University
of 25 years with a Ph.D. in Persian Literature, will conduct these classes,
reading the first chapter of Mathnavi (Daftar-e Aval Mathnavi) with irfanic
interpretation, and analysing the key-concepts of irfan.
These classes are recommended for lovers of Molavi Rumi and Persian
Literature and poetry.
Time: From Sep.19 thru. Oct. 24, 1999 (6 sessions, Sundays), from 4-6
PM
Location: SIP, 1659 Scott Blvd., (Building Fernmar), Santa Clara
Direction: From North, on El Camino & San Toma go to South on El
Camino, turn left on Scott.
Fee: $10 per session, or $50 for 6-sessions. 10% of the proceeds will
be donated to SIP fund.
