Iran says close to offshore deals with Shell
VIENNA, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said
on Wednesday his country was close to agreeing oil deals with Shell.
When asked if Iran was near signing oil contracts he said ``Yes, we
are very close with Shell for offshore projects.''
Asked if the fields concerned were Soroush and Nowruz Zanganeh said:``Yes.''

ministerial conference.
Iran is hoping to sign agreements with western oil companies after reopening
