FILM: Maryam in San Francisco
My name is Ramin Serry and I wrote and directed a feature film, "Maryam",
which will be screening in the S.F. area as part of a film festival in
March.
"Maryam," which is in English, is the story of an Iranian
family living in the U.S. during the Revolution/Hostage Crisis of 1979.
The film will screen in Berkeley at the Pacific Film Archive on March
10th and in S.F. at the Kabuki theater on March 12th and 13th.
There will be some press coverage of the film but I wanted to give you
guys the advance word.
I'm hoping you can help me spread the news among young people in the
community.
There's a little info, including our review from film critic Roger Ebert,
on our website: ww.streetlightfilms.com
starring: Mariam Parris, David Ackert, Shaun Toub, Maziyar Jobrani, and
Shohreh Aghdashloo.
