President Khatami of Iran is visiting Italy and the Vatican. He is
to meet the government representatives of both countries. He is to meet
the Pope on Thursday. We are asking that everyone call the respective
embassies and missions to the United Nation to ask their government to
pressure Mr. Khatami to:
1. Arrange an open and fair Trial for Abbas Amir Entezam
2. Allow him and his attorneys present in the courtroom to defend him
against all charges he is accused of with the presence of the People, Jurists
and International observers.
