California Game Fish Caught in Gulf Waters off Iran

TEHRAN, Iran, 19 May, (Reuters) - A game fish from distant California, a marlin, has been caught by an Iranian fisherman in the Gulf, Iran's Fisheries Research Center said Tuesday.

A tag on its fin indicated the 70-inch long, 77-pound big game fish, caught off the Gulf coast port of Bushehr, had swum 20,000 miles from California, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
