Penhasi Kamal writes: Iran has a beautiful breed of dog known as the Persian Hound. In Western countries it is also called the Saluki. In Iran we call it the Tazi. This dog runs very fast and its name comes from the Persian verb, "taakhtan" (sagi keh mitaazad). We have some other breeds of dogs but the Saluki is the most famous.
