Iranian demonstrators burn a U.S flag, Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, in Tehran,
Iran, to condemn recent clashes and killings of Palestinians by Israeli
forces. Chanting slogans against Israel and the U.S. and calling for the
destruction of the Jewish state, some 10,000 people were out on the streets
of Tehran to protest the death of scores of Palestinians in clashes with
Israeli security forces.
