Jordan's King Abdullah embraces with Mehdi Karroubi, the Speaker of the
Iranian Parliament, at the Royal Palace in Amman January 21, 2001. Karroubi's
visit is the first by a speaker of the Iranian parliament since the start
of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 by the late Ayatollah Khomeni.
