Founded 1996, Evolving Perceptions is an artist-run organization created to support Iranian and Iranian-American artists in the US. EP's primary goal is to organize annual exhibitions for Iranian-American artists in the Virginai / Maryland / Washington DC areas. All volunteers of EP have worked hard with supporting organizations and artists to keep EP thriving.
* Monthly meetings are currently organized for Washington area Iranian-American artists to provide more opportunities to gather and network as well as educate the entire community at large.

*Annual Iranian Student Artist Scholarship
One of our longterm goals is to provide studio space for EP artists in order to encourage productivity and communal works.

1996
First Evolving Perception Exhibition, Ovissi Studio,Virginia Sponsored by IACA.
1997
2nd Annual Evolving Perceptions Exhibition, National Press Club, Washington, DC. Sponsored by IACA
1999
3rd Annual Evolving Perceptions,505 Gallery, affiliated with A. Salon, a non-profit organization to support DC artists. Sponsored by IACA.
2000
The Silent Brush was the result of a close collaboration with 3 galleries from Tehran (Aria,Vali, and Nour), Gallery Ovissi from California, and Desho Production form Washington DC. The exhibition showcased a rare collection from Iranian artists for the first time in the US, and it took place at Ronald Regan and International Trade center in Washington, DC. The major sponsor of the event was Chevron. Also IACA, and American Iranian Council supported the show.
4th Annual Evolving Perceptions: Art for Peace, 505 Gallery in Washington DC. Sponsored by Iranian Studies Foundation and IACA.
