An event celebrating the life and accomplishments of Forugh Farrokhzad. The event will feature a presentation of "Khaneh Siah Aast," a film by Forugh Farrokhzad and "I Shall Salute the Sun Once Again," a film by Mansooreh Saboori on the life of Forough. Mansooreh Saboori will introduce and briefly discuss both films.

The evening will also feature the poetry of Forugh. Tickets cost $10.00 and proceeds will support the 9th annual Iranian Women's Studies Foundation (IWSF) Conference, Washington, DC, June 26- 28, 1998.
