SINGAPORE, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Crude prices in Asia on Friday remained
relatively steady, propped up by declining stocks as OPEC output cuts
bite. January New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) crude futures last
traded at $26.80 per barrel at 0650 GMT, a marginal three cents lower

* Turkey to seek delivery extension in Iran gas deal
ANKARA, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Turkey will send senior gas officials to
Iran this month to try to revise a penalty clause in a $23 billion accord,
to avoid paying $120 million for undelivered gas, an energy official said
on Thursday. Gokhan Yardim, general manager of Turkey's pipeline company

NEWARK, N.J., Dec 13 (Reuters) - A man was sentenced on Monday to 28
months in federal prison for illegally selling missile parts to Iran, U.S.
Attorney Robert Cleary said. U.S. District Court Judge Alfred Wolin also

TEHRAN, Dec 13 (AFP) - The former chairman of Iranian domestic electrical
appliance company Arj and several of his colleagues were arrested and remanded
in custody Sunday for alleged fraud, the courts said Monday. Abbas Dadqar
and several members of the management board of the Arj factory, nationalised
