Mouse eats cat in Abadan

June 9, (Tehran Times) - The Persian daily Kayhan on Monday reported that in Zolfeqari District in Abadan a cat fell prey of a big mouse and was eaten up.

Abadan municipality had distributed poison to cope with the ever increasing number of mice several weeks ago. But the poison did not work and the mice got increasingly fat and strong.

Abadani residents come to this part of the city to see how mice follow up the cats and enjoy the rare event in their lives.

It is strange that the cats escape so as not to be caught by the mice. But it is more strange that the same poison have killed many cats throughout the city.

I urge you, as a fellow compatriot, to introspect further prior to dissemination of an article ... FULL TEXT
