Iranian companies happily testing Iraqi waters

Oil shares nudge higher

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Major U.S. energy company stocks made tentative gains Wednesday as traders anticipated a victory by Republican George W. Armenia eager to get gas pipeline construction underway

TEHRAN, Nov 8 (AFP) - Yerevan wants the planned construction of a gas pipeline between Iran and Armenia to be speeded up, the defence minister said during a visit to Tehran on Wednesday. DaimlerChrysler wins 430 mln euros Iran contract

FRANKFURT, Nov 6 (Reuters) - U.S.-German automobile giant DaimlerChrysler AG said on Monday its Powertrain division had won a 43O million euros contract from Iranian bus and truck axle maker V.A.M. NYMEX crude up early amid fragile Mideast truce

NEW YORK, Nov 3 (Reuters) - NYMEX crude futures rose early Friday as clashes flared amid a fragile Palestinian-Israeli truce in the Middle East, overshadowing an OPEC assurance on oil supply.
