    Revolution: 1979-1999

    One of the most dramatic letters ever written by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. It was addressed to Ayatollah Hosseinali Montazeri, telling him that he was no longer considered the future leader of the Islamic Republic and that he should stay away from politics all together. The letter was written a few months before Khomeini's death in June 1989 (the date on the Persian text is incorrect).
