    Revolution: 1979-1999

    Ayatollah Hosseinali Montazeri lecturing on the nature of the Islamic State. The weekly program was aired on Iranian TV in the early 1980s. Montazeri was considered to be Ayatollah Khomeini's successor but he fell out of favor in 1988 for criticizing extremist policies.
