It represents the exisitng regime and its aspirations to continue to rape the country and her people...... But, seriously, that's the "barb" in barbed wire, which is what the picture is from (closeup and a nice one at that). The green twist is a small wild, vine-like growth.

ha ha ha, that was good though.

A very thought-provoking photo: sprout growing on barbed-wire.....the plant must be very resilient! it reminds me of the brave Iranians who are unbreakable and tenacious! They will find a way to materialize their dream of freedom and democracy sooner or later.

There are a lot of interesting photos in www.sidewalklyrics.com.

Thank you for sharing! I wish I could see leaves or budding from the photo!

what's the brown thing?

Is it what I think it is?  And if so, how did it get up there and who twisted it into that shape? :-)))

  ...and meaningful!

Although it has almost a symmetrical composition, the natural green has an upper hand to the rigidity of the barbwire; by direction, flexibility and beauty...

So zen, so powerfully calm, so soothing. Less is definitely more. Thanks for sharing.

Green barbwire? I don't see anything special about it.
