It usually doesn't take them too long to show their hands, their real purpose of being here on IC. I am talking about pro-Israel mouthpieces on this website. They open their umbrellas here when it rains in Tel Aviv, an strange dangerous creatures indeed. They are bad news for every Iranians of all races and faiths.
So of course he like the rest of them support military actions against Iran. That's what they've been advocating for the last 30 years. They are the hatemongers and warmongers of Iranian dotcom.
I agree with Roozbeh, Mousavi was used as a catalyst for people to vent their displeasure with the regime. Supporters of Mousavi should not get carried away and believe he possessed any special qualities.
However, Mousavi is a charlatan. He served as Prime Minister under Khomeini and he knew better than any one esle that there is no rule of law, due process or a fair democratic process which allows the President to be able to function properly. Mousavi knew very well that the entire constitution and the role of the President is a farce because he is unable to do anything without the approval of the council of Guardian and the Ayatoilet Khamenei. Mousavi knew Khomeini, he knew how corrupt and ineffectual the government is and yet he try to inspire people with HOPE. This is his crime.
Even if we were to believe that Mousavi was sincere what could he realistically do to bring about the change people legitimately expect from his as a president. The reformists were given 5 years to bring about change but faced obstacle after obstacle. What the hell could Mousavi do over and above Khatami.
No one expected Mousavi to change things over night. The problem is that he can never bring about change even if the election was not a fraud.
Death to the Islamic Republic. Death to Ahmadinejad. Death Ayatoilet Khamenei. Please support military action.
Mir Hussein Mousavi announced that he was the "definite winner" (barandeh ghat'i) one hour after the polls closed on election night, and that he had won with 65% of the vote. How did he know this? Answer: he didn't - he just lied to the people about his "victory" in order to deny the fact that 24 million Iranians had voted for Ahmadi and to discredit everything.
The sedition that followed is all his fault. But the regime only cracks down on his stupid supporters but lets this criminal and fraudster - with link to American neocons- walk free and say whatever he likes.
Btw, he is not "hamrah"..he thinks of himself as very much "rahbar e mo'azzam". His surname is Mousavi Khamenei, let us not forget.
marg bar Khamenei! (the younger one).
Mousavi was an excuse for people's uprising against the...
the real enemy, the islamist regime. I agree with simorgh that he has been a failure as a leader. He let people down badly by his lack of courage and will power. No wonder he is the darling of the islamist regime's rent a mouth on this site.
"Personal business must yield to collective interest."
With his obscure pretenses & with his blind loyalty to a hanging “dead man picture” above his head on the wall, Mousavi has been lost long in the "Bushes" to know the difference between his own left & right.
I'm sure you don't need me to post link after link after link from past comments and blogs just to show inconsistencies in this policy, you know what I'm talking about!
Real losers are the ones who feel like they need to attack Mousavi to give their own worthless lives meaning.
This isn't McDonalds. We're sorry things don't get done instantly. If you have chosen watch from the sidelines while others take real risk and work for long term reform, you don't get to bitch and moan and be taken seriously. I think millions of Iranian people cheering Mousavi's name in the streets is the real reason he is hated by both political opponents and loudmouth exiles alike. Birdbrains, no exception.
Javid, why are you singling out videos for 'distraction'? We both know there are many more ways to be distracting and time-wasting. Are you going to consider all of them?

I don't see every single comment on this site. But if I see embedded videos, the codes will be removed. Embedded videos take focus away from the main subject of the page. That's how powerful videos and images are. They are distracting.

Directionally challenged
by comrade on Fri Nov 12, 2010 05:22 PM PSTI don't agree with the implicit notion that suggests Mousavi is pointing to his left, while the nation is going to the right.
