Dadash Iraj the Cartoonist hasn't been "convicted" of anything whatsoever. He is free to use the freedom of expression provided in Western democracies in order to propagandize on behalf of an authoritarian terrorist regime that has executed tens of thousands of Iranians and which denies those same freedoms to tens of millions of Iranian men and women. And we also are free to call him on his hypocrisy and his intellectual dishonesty. But I do understand why West-residing IRI Groupies travel in packs and feel the need to "defend" each other -- the same phenomenon is seen in Nature.
Cubans, Spanish, English, Iranian, or whatever else that passes its fight to a non relational party, in this case a foreign country is worthless. If you don't trust yourself, your people, your culture, or country to pull it off, you don't deserve what you think you should have. Simple as that.
As my friend says, it's $hit, but it's my $hit! Sorry for the language :)
Get it together folks. It's not as bad as some say and not as good as we would like. We can do it. Unite first then we talk.
You people may not realize this, but you have been the judge and the jury in a military court which has convicted Iraj of an unforgivable crime of high treason for his thoughts and beliefs simply because he was against "green movement" back in 2009. So you think now anything and everything he posts is bad and anti freedom movement in Iran. So what has happened to "nothing is sacred?" Get a grip people!
Anyone who thinks this cartoon is against his/her belief should be ashamed of themselves and maybe start practicing military boot licking of US soldiers as the cartoon suggests.
I miss Haj Agha's cartoons. The funniest factor about his cartoons were his constant display of ignorance. Iraj is not as funny because he is the improved version.
Or: On the relationship between Mr. Godarzy and Ms. Shaghayegh!
Since, a pro-intervention, old 'letter' of Mirfetros (from last yare, 2010) was posted in here, brother Iraj takes that as an ocassion for inspiration to disgrace this site once again with his Islamic Republic of Hell sanctioned graphics drivel.
On the positive side though, he hasn't used his constant icons. That should count for something.
Aghay Esfandiary, on a personal note, I would like to respectflluy request from you, if you find it agreeable to your artistic taste and standards, to draw something on human rights conditions of Iran in the past three decades.
More on the positive side, the relationship between slave and master in here is pretty accurate. It would have felt a lot more authentic and genuine if Iraj khan didn't have a bagage.
Dadash Iraj should have done a cartoon re: IRGC going to heaven
There could have been a very nice cartoon of thousands of little pieces of the 17 (or more) IRGC Holy Martyrs being blown straight to heaven by the recent "accidental" Boom! Boom! at the IRGC military base. The general in charge of the IRI's missile program, Moqaddam, would naturally get the first 72 virgins, given his high "military" rank. What do you think, Dadash Iraj?
Those who dispise this cartoon .....
