Beat China to gain entery to Men's World Cup

iransportspress.coml: Iran's national volleyball squad has overcome China in the final of the 16th Asian Men's Volleyball Championship tournament held in Tehran to perch at the summit of Asia for the first time. The Iranian team was crowned champion before an 18-thousand full capacity crowd at the Azadi Indoor Stadium following their 3-1 defeat of China on Thursday. The win secures Iran a berth in the FIVB Men's World Cup due in Japan from November 20 to December 4 >>>

You can't always get the perfect spike!  You tend to just lob it over the fence which works but does not have the ummph of a spike!  If you want the real deal you have to go for it!  Don't worry if you foul and end up arguing with the official and lose it and get ejected, the perfect spike is worthed!

BTW if they ever let women back in the Azadi stadium they need major renovations!  The place is falling apart, see below:

Congrats to Iranian players and supporters and the Argentinian coach Julio Velasco.

Iran was in the tougher brackett and beat Japan (3-0) and South Korea (3-1) along the way.

I am so proud of them. Of course, we have the talents, beating china 1.5 billion population for a small country with this political mess is something to celebrate! All it took was an italian coach!

I love the fact that behind their shirts didn't I.R.Iran, it waas IRAN, that's when i felt the conction!
