Why I was in love

August 2009: No trip to Iran would be complete without a visit to the North. Driving from Tehran through Chalous to Namakabroud reminded me why I was in love with Iran.

Particularly for those of us who can't visit Iran because of the f***** mullahs, these pictures are valuable.

Thanks for the pictures

Thanks for the pictures from Iran, wow, over 100 of them! Besides 5-6 pictures looking blurry, all the rest are great. My favorite pictures are the pictures from the tourist attractions and the beach. The cable car pictures reminds me of the scenes from Aspen, Colorado:

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=aspen+colorado+cable+car&form=QBIR&qs=n#focal=f186cd21679159a5aebe6329610a4f12&furl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mccullagh.org%2Fdb9%2Fd30-25%2Faspen-cable-car.jpg

I was there just 4 weeks ago. The beach pictures look great 'cause "guys" were having fun there. The only disappointment is  that girls were not doing much on the beach. They stood around wrapping themselves up like burritos and they missed out a lot of fun! It is sad! I hope one day, girls can join the fun activities, like swimming, diving, gymnastics, and figure skating.....

thank you sooooo much for sharing!
