I have been following world events closely of recent times and as i see it, the world is at its cross roads. The many disputes now being faced by countries (regrettebly) will eventually be settled by war. I dont think that being muslim, catholic, christian or jew is going to change the outcome, many lives have already been lost with major wars and smaller local wars. I dont know much about middle eastern culture or the way of life there, how ever, i do know that life is short and war is not the answer to solving present middle eastern issuese. In australia, we have a very diverse population with many different cultures and religions living next door to each other and sharing the same land.
My question to all middle eastern leaders is this:, Do you think that war will settle long standing disputes, or, will it only prolong and intensify an already complex and religously sensitive issues.I ask that countriese who are embarking on a quest for dominace to think carefully, that once a war is started and the dust settles, that everything has been destroyed, there is no winner and the ones who lose most of all, are our children.
regards
