My Thanksgiving

My Thanksgiving
by Roozbeh_Gilani

On this Occasion, I want to give Thanks to a large number of fellow human beings.

I want to thank Lybinas, Tunisians and Egyptians who despatched their brutal dictators to the dustbin of history. I know and am certain that these people are alert and politicaly aware enough not to allow their just revolutions to degenerate into a fascist dictatorship as was sadly the case in our country Iran. We saw an example of this  political awareness in Tahrir square, Egypt, last week.

I'd like to thank the amazingly brave people of Syria who are daily dafying the murdering blood thirsty dentist Asad, demanding  their basic human rights.

I'd like to thank increasing number of people in the western democracies who are peacefuly demonstrating against the injustices of an economic system which is increasingly being dominated by a small, greedy bunch of bankers and financiers.

Last, but certainly not least I want to thank every single political prisoner of the fascist Islamist regime of Iran, for their amazing courage, patriotism and will power. I want to thank the mothers of every single Iranian who sacrificed his/her life for the noble cause of liberating our beloved land from the clutches of Islamist fascism. I want to reserve special thanks for the mother of this brave young teacher who wrote this whilst awaiting his execution, at the hands of cowardly Islamist fascists , with his will as strong as steel, and his heart filled with love of Iran and it's people:

A part of Kamangar's letter "Be Strong Comrades":

"Is it possible to carry the heavy burden of being a teacher and be responsible for spreading the seeds of knowledge and still be silent? Is it possible to see the lumps in the throats of the students and witness their thin and malnourished faces and keep quiet? Is it possible to be in the year of no justice and fairness and fail to teach the H for Hope and E for Equality, even if such teachings land you in Evin prison or result in your death?"

  According to Vahed

by vildemose on

According to Vahed Workers Syndicate, Reza Shahabi, a member of the board of the Vahed Syndicate and its treasurer, was taken to Shahid Araghi hospital in Tehran on November 21 from the Evin prison. The doctors made examinations on his back and neck and indicated that he needs to go under surgery. Shahabi has said that he will not consent to an operation before his case is cleared. Shahabi was subsequently returned to his cells.

Reza Shahabi has been behind bars since June 12, 2010.

behind the smoke screen of "threat of War", IRI is killing

even more Iranians. 11 people were hanged for "drug related crimes", in one batch alone at one prison in Iran only this week. Who were they? what were their exact crimes? when were they tried? indeed, how many of them were political prisoners?

Thanks Dear Hamsadeh Ghadimi and Dear Truthseeker9 for kind comments.

Future belongs to us, the people. we will win.

and Islamist fascists will lose.

Looking at the picture, I see 20 more Farzads who will carry their beloved teacher's  ideals forward. By killing him and people like him, Islamist regime only manages to craete thousands more enemies for itself, thousands more determimed to end it's shameful existance at any cost....

Thank you friends for reading and comments.

Thank you for your great blog! Kamangar is one of my favorite Iranians! It is super sad that a great teacher like him is not allowed to live in Iran! It is a disgrace!:

His legacy lives on! He will go down history as a great Iranian!
