when I was living in Iran under Islamic regime I had hard times to date girl because stupid punishment by Islamic law....then i move in Canada where women are in power , British system I saw so many divorced, and so many single rich women and ass of the homeless man, I get out and i try to date one of them but I never be luck, also I saw here is so difficult for young Canadian boy also to date girl here they are not normal women they are thinking they are espical and they should date rich guy or famous actors or singer or ....dreaming....and why most of the are single and never get married in Canada, I never had chance to date female ? how I know we have good female show me ? thank you Natasha , i just discovery the place I live is my problems Victoria because most of the are white Canadian women and many of them lesbian or single no connection with man,I read last night news some others man like me having problems here to negative thinking about women, how ever I like Spanish women lot more then Iranian when I was living in Spanish and Mexican community in LA I ask a girls Spanish to married me but she all ready engage, Spanish women and from Philippines one of the best and friendly women I ever meet my last girl friends she from Mexico student she also had boy friends in Mexico if you know any spanish girl like to date and married me let me know , here is my ideas I don't like Canadian women because they are so selfish my cartoons is all about them not others women we have so many good women but I never had chance to meet them, thank you

Haji this looks like Hannibal Lecter has drawn a woman. Did you ever watch the Silence Of the Lambs movie or the sequels? They are showing them these days since it's Halloween. He was a cannibalist who fried someone's brain in front of him and fed him with it. The poor guy liked it too and laughed while eating his own brain. This reminded me of that. You could have at least drawn a bowtie or something to make it look like it's a woman's brain.

No offense Naser but I do not think you understand the concept of "virtous woman of the people of the book". I will not have SEX with a man that is not my husband. Other reasons why  I am not a suitable choice are that I am a divorced woman.  I am almost 40 and I am not planning on having any more children. My time for giving birth has come and gone. I  have a university degree and my career focus will be Bilingual Education (English/Spanish).   I plan on going to graduate school too. My life is in the US not in Canada. 

Naser, as much as I want to see Haji happy and with a family of his own; I am not the most suitable choice for him.

A virtuous people of the book! I like that... and I am sure Haji will like that too! Even more than I do because Haji is a virtuous man ( I am not!), the only thing is that you might quarrel over religion, you a christian and Haji a Muslim.
But don't worry, that can be easily solved if you both like each other.
Either Haji could change religion or you or even better each keep his/her faith, have sex and enjoy life! and if you want to marry later, you could have many children... And live happily ever after up to the age of 120...

What are you thinking? Yes, I am single but I do not sleep around. I am what is called a virtous woman of the people of the book. Don't faint, we still do exist.  However, we are in danger of becoming  extinct.  :o)  Look his pessimism is not just due to a lack of SEX,  come out and just say the word. We are all grown ups here. There have been a series of events in his life that have led to this point. Yes, perhaps the love of a good woman in a committed relationship would help ease his pain and solitude. However, it is not a cure all. Who is Allen Delon? I will need to look this up.  You do realize I am Hispanic and you would have been better to say "He is no Antonio Banderas". Just kidding. If you find it so offensive then by all means do go get your reading somewhere else. No one is forcing you to select the page where Haji's drawings are. You are in control of your computer, hands, fingers, mind, etc. You make the choice. There is good and bad everywhere. Unless you live in a bubble, you will find things that you do not approve of. It is a fact of life.

I have not agreed with all of Haji's drawings in the past but I think he is making a major effort to express himself in a better manner. Through his drawings he is expressing himself and through them he will grow as a person.

I am a verified registered user and put together a little Bio information about me but I have still remained anonymous. No one knows who I am or where I live. No one knows what I really look like. My name Sasha is only my nickname. I did not use my real name out of respect of my paternal and maternal grandmothers as I was given their name. I could not bare to have their name insulted. After I saw how some people on iranian.com dragged other people's families through the mud, I decided to instead use one of many nicknames given to me over the years. It is the farthest one from my actual name too. It is my favorite nickname, which means defender of man. :o)   Yes, I know that in some places it is a name given to males only. However, in Mexico it is a name given to females. There was actually a very famous and beautiful actress named Sasha Montenegro.

Don't listen to the haters Haji. It is easy to insult and dehumanize someone behind a fake name.

Haji, I do agree in that women do think about sex, perhaps not as often as men but they do. My suggestion is that not all women prefer the electronic device,   they would rather have the real thing in the context of a meaningful relationship. Some women do require an emotional attachment as a necessary part of a physical attraction to a man.

Apart from my suggestion I think it was a great cartoon.

From what I have read in this site, You have always defended "freedom of expression" and that's fine. But how dirty and how far this has to go on?, enough is enough, it seems you and Haji are looking for more readership, doesn't matter how you arrive to that. It seems Haji is a "bastard", no respect for his mother, sister etc (if he has any), but what about you, what about me, and other readers?, his hate notes and drawings refer to women in general, that includes your wife, sister, mother, daughter, is this fine with you and your readers?.
