Tell me why don't you believe in their intentions? Do you believe they are lying and they are hiding their intentions? To be fair, I think you should show clear evidence of insincerity before sharing your suspicions.
Isn't it a bit sad that now that there is a group of muslims who defend baha'is that their intentions are being questioned? Shouldn't it be expected for some muslims to try give at least a little counterweight to all the slandering that is going on in the name of their religion?
Pathetic!

Muslim Network for Bahai Rights

Dear Farshad-jon,
I am the founder of the Muslim Network for Baha'i Rights, and was really sad to hear your claims that we are only an extention of this long history of betrayel, despite working extremely hard for over a year in order to visibly condemn abuse against the Baha'i minority both in Egypt and Iran, as well as the Muslim world in general. Many members of our network also risk their lives and reputation in order to commit to our vision, where Baha'is and Muslims peacefully coexist. We work independently and have already established a growing presence in Iran and the Arab world, consistently making more and more people aware of crimes against Baha'is and encouraging Muslims to speak out on their behalf. There is no evidence claiming otherwise, and indeed you will not find any, because our work is sincere.
I understand your concerns and caution, considering what Baha'is have to deal with, but such concerns are also discuraging when you work hard only to have people "not believe" your efforts, quickly dismissing them as a trap without as much as speaking to the people behind the site, which you never did. But again, you have the right to question our intentions. We just encourage you to read the site carefully and consider your argument, and to speak to the members behind this hard working network.
The mere notion that a "Muslim" Network for Baha'i rights is unrealistic to the point of its intentions being highly questioned is quite sad, because it might also suggest that Muslim support is unwelcome. As a Muslim, and as the founding member of this project, that is the impression that I got from your comments.
This is a simple and honest request for you to reconsider your statements Farshad-jon, because they are more harmful than cautious. Our work is sincere. Our cartoons, videos, research, translations, et al are all frank and are done independently and in our own time, using our very own resources. What other intention would we have? Why would we, as Muslims, ever wish harm upon our Baha'i brethren, who are not just friends but family to us?

Long history of betrayal!!

Dear Martijn R,
Thank you for your response.
To answer your question, let’s go back to the history:
I do not know whether you know about “ hojattiyeh” group or not. There were many members of Hojattiyeh who pretended to be Bahai in order to get information from Bahais, to get into the Bahai administration, or to find out about the Bahai members. Many Bahais were executed after the revolution as a direct result of Hojattiiyeh group information.
My suspicious about this group is the same as Hojattiyeh. You can pretend to defend the Bahai rights and even to be Bahai but your purpose and intention really be something else.
I hope that I made it clear but am open to learn more about these individuals. I will not bias against anybody but I hope your can understand where this suspicious are coming from. This is my opinion and I will respect other people idea even if they are against me.
Bahai’s have been through a lot in Iran, the history of more than 160 years of persecution is the evidence of that. There were and are so many similar groups with the sole purpose and intention of hurting the Bahais under the beautiful brand of defending Bahai rights.
As I said, this is my own opinion and I do not know what will be the reaction of Bahai community about this group so please do not count my opinion as the Bahai administration standing in this case..

Maybe you should contact them directly to ask for clarification.

I have heard about this group about one year ago: "Muslim Network for Bahai Rights".
I do not want to discredit their effort to defend the Bahai rights but I have been and am suspicious of their intention and purpose for doing that.
Everybody is entitled to have their own opinion about the group and their intentions but I do not believe their intention is helping to defend the Bahai rights.
Tell me why don't you
