Just happened to read the commentary here titled "Naive" and it struck me as either someone with a hidden agenda, or just plain CRAZY !
I have nothing to do with NIAC, but occurs to me there are many many legitimate reasons to ask an audience NOT to use cameras in a meeting/presentation. The argument presented against NIAC seems hollow at best!
with all due respect, your analogy is too naive! There is big difference between what are they doing and honesty, if you can point it out then you have my vote too ;)
Do you remember their hedious motive in LA conference a while ago that they asked everybody to shut down cameras! can you compare it to senate committe on Iran and human rights issue which some Iranian were testifying...there were many cameras...personal and media and nobody stopped them from taking pictures! Do you get the difference? and One word with NIAC, if you don't have anything to hide, why would you shut down cameras?
Don't be too Irani or too akhoondi...if you are speaking human rights...let it be! but I am sure, you (NIAC)'re not.
Thanks again Jahanshah for this medium...but your opinion is too naive!
not Naive but definitely Crazy :-)
