British woman.........etc.
*Nice pix but it is amazing how Iran is often viewed through a one dimensional, flat, optical lens!
+I mean what that subject showes hier IS the true Islamic Rrepublic of Iran. Or do live architectual female students in some villages? And the CHADOUR is the political sign of Iranian females. It is modern. The most effective weapon against any kind of encoroachment and infringement from abroad. I think it is just the chadour which has prevented those strange dirty and stinky smelly creatures to enter Iran.they are all standing arround the Islamic Republic of Iran grunting and barking but do not dare to go in. I mean it is because of Chadour. The hoorable Iranians living in their Islamic Republic do not need to be viewed by any person. Either with or without flat glases. by the way: subjects like the fotogarfer CAN look only through flat glases. One needs only to take a look on their own lifeconditions, thier habits, their hobbys and their way of life. The youngest history since 1978/79 adjusts that the westerns are lost sooner or later. I wish them as soon as also I can be a witness. there were times as these strangers went to iran to collect Information and find out how they can make that country to a self service institution, to a take away shop were they could buy rightaway and pay never. Those days are gone now. but stil the hope bringing them back is not fully disappeared.
* and did not come across a single Chadori, Donkey, or any of the backwarded images presented here!
+I am sorry i have tried to find some backwarded images but i had no success. Working with Donkys prevents the autamatization and autamatization is jobkiller. If the westerns have any critic on working with donkys it is because they wish that iranians give up their tradition, kill their donkys and buy autamatics in West. Iranians keep their tradion untill they can develop their own automatics. Just like NucScience. Thats it.
*Deliberate or not, it seems people forget that Iran, like their own society, does not consist of a mono syllabic class-Backwarded religious fanatics and illiterates- nor does it start and end in the far out villages of a nowhere land!+
+I do not see any nowhere land in the Pics and the statement "like their own society" belongs, so i mean, at the end of the sentence. It is pointed with a +
*It would have been a nice contrast seeing some pictures of modern Iran with its highly educated and open minded men and women.
+Are those architectures not well educated? not well dressed? not healthy sporty free and ready to perform a nice positiv job as students? I can not winn any other impressions from the Pics.
*I guess who you associate with in Iran will also lead to your views as is the case with anywhere else!
+Iranians who live in Iran do not give even one PAPASSY to the view of strangers and subjects like the old widow who has a few pounds more than her needs and can travel to Iran. As little as the westerns mind the view of the nations of the world about themselves.
I have enjoyed the Pics. Everywhere satisfeid, healthy and comunicative poeple and nice clean buildings. The selfconfidence of the beings who are confronted with that subject who is broken into their daily life is very remarkable. Greeting
