Arsalan Nami best known as Arsi Nami, was born on May 21, 1984 in Shiraz, Iran, is a international Singer & Songwriter living in Los Angeles, California raised in Sweden.

His breakthrough came when he participated on "Aiming at the Stars" a national talent show program televised on TV4 Sweden, Sikta_mot_stjärnorna^[2] much like American Idol, singing live on television. After two auditions where 3000 participated, he became one of the forty-five to enter the show singing "Hero" (originally by Enrique Iglesias ), ending in 2nd place. ^[3] His music is in a variety of styles from soft rock and pop to electronica with oriental touches indicative of his upbringing.

All music, lyrics, and instruments are played, written, and produced by him.^[4] He co-directed, produced, and edited two of his music videos: 100 Miles and Heaven Knows, which have been broadcast through mainstream medium giants such as MTV UK. His Music Video 100 Miles was also featured at the Laemmie Theaters Santa Monica SMC Film Festival, Persian major television channels and more.

Arsi is also known for writing and dedicating his works or performances for freedom, human rights and health foundations.

His hitsong "She Wants To Fly" was written and dedicated to the innocent people of Iran who sacrificed their lives for freedom during the Summer 2009 elections.

Arsi (Arsalan Nami) was born on May 21st, 1984 in Shiraz, Iran. Since childhood he got away with, being loud due to his innocent, good looks.
He always loved performing in front of people. He moved to Sweden at the age of 4.
He acquired his talents listening to his older brother playing the oriental keyboard and later on watching,dancing and dreaming to become a performer like his first idol "Michael Jackson".

He was always the favored child to perform in parties. He continued to develop his talents until he finally was able to get his music in a comfortable manner.
He now calls the stage his home.
