A Palestinian human rights group has brought war crime charges against former high ranking Israeli officials in a Spanish court.
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) filed lawsuit in the National Criminal Court of Spain against the Israeli officials who authorized the al-Daraj bloodshed.

it's a good idea (but)
by vessal-shirazi (not verified) on Wed Jul 23, 2008 05:05 PM CDTWhy don't they charge the people behind the plan for the tractor/bulldozer that stroked 3 weeks ago and again this past Tuesday that killed civilians? Isn’t that a crime against humanity to kill so many innocent people on a busy street and have a bulldozer coming straight at them?

You cannot charge people with war crimes unless they were directly involved in the commission of the crimes. If they were involved in an official and systematic effort to war crimes, it is a Crime Against Humanity.

Why aren't they charging that Israeli soldier who shot the Palestinian prisoner in the leg yesterday with a war crime? As well as his commanding officer, who seems to have ordered it? They are both guilty of war crimes, and there is clear evidence against them. Why don't they try for a case they can actualy win?
