Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a "per diem" allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business!

Sarah the Fraud

by Theresa (not verified) on

Palin repeated not just the lie but her now-standard "thanks, but no thanks" line. She's so much of a fraud that all she does is repeat the same media-friendly one-liners over and over and over. People say she's so charismatic, so likeable, but behind that smile with a sarcastic sneer there's just a robotic political core to go along with the extremist right-wing ideology. As a political figure, there's nothing genuine or authentic about her.

The Fraud begins on her retouched image using photoshop. We all were amazed by mullahs ability to alter their technology feat but we see that Republiklans also can do it ! Just take a look

Between Condolisa Rice and Palin, this two women can blow up the entire world in the name of God, his son and his mother-in-law. Beware of where this nation is heading.

McCain + Palin = McPain

by Pouya (not verified) on

Palin may have been a boost of political Viagra for the limp, bloodless GOP (and according to an ABC/Washington Post poll she has created a boost in McCain's standing among white women to a 53 over Obama's 41). But ideologically, she is their hardcore pornographic centerfold spread, revealing the ugliest underside of Republican ambitions -- their insanely zealous and cynical drive to win power by any means necessary, even at the cost of actual leadership.

I've found the video. She exactly says:

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving do to what is right. Also for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending them out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for -- that there is a plan, and that plan is God's plan."

Inbelievable!!!! You can watch if you're incredulous like me before:

I’ve worked for various companies for forty years and never billed them for a per diem when I was at home. The whole notion of a perdiem is to reimburse you for hotel expenses when on the road. If Palin was working for a corporation, she would have been fired for fraudulent expense billing or at the minimum, asked to repay the money.

Status quo

by Bidar (not verified) on

Palin is nothing more than pandering to the women vote- it’s not because anyone in the political process gives a rat’s heiney about change and the general American public. They will be just fine and dandy resuming “status quo” after Jan 20th. Doesn’t matter whether she is a “good” choice or a “bad” choice. I actually think she’s kind of a kick butt kinda gal- not that it really matters. As usual, the political process comes down to a “choice” of the lesser of 2 evils- be assured, if EITHER party WANTS their candidate(s) elected it is to serve themselves, not us the iranians.

The phrase "like putting lipstick on a pig - it's still a pig" is at least as old as lipstick itself. Heard it a million times, right? That doesn't mean it isn't a perfectly apt description of the recent attempts to re-brand the Republican party. It doesn't surprise me that small minds would reduce the metaphor to "He's calling her a pig!" No surprise there. The thing with the fish, though... I mean, come on!!

Dangerous deal

by Omidvar (not verified) on

John McSame picked an ethics challenged creationist cheerleader (Palin) as his running-mate and now Palin won't talk to the press (we all know why) yet she gets up and makes some crazy speech everyday where she's calling out Democrats, Obama, Biden etc....and the freaking corporate media runs with it?!?!

Where the heck does she get off calling out ANYONE when she's to damn afraid of having to go off script (Charlie Gibson?...pleeeease) and answer some questions from the media? And there are a LOT of questions Caribou Barbie needs to answer...

I know in these tough economic times it's sometimes hard to remember how many houses you own but C'mon Corporate Media, Do Your Freaking Job For Once!

You're right. I also think that she was chosen for the reason of getting frustrated Hillary voters. A cheap shot from a desperate McCain.

I hate her for going along and don't believe for one minute she doesn't know this.

I'm surprised she didn't start smacking her teeth on a piece of gum up there on stage.

She cut special education funding 62%, which goes against what she said about being an advocate for special needs families.

She supported the "bridge to nowhere" before it was unpopular and before she was Governor.

She didn't sell the jet like she said she did, she sold it back to the state.

She's a fraud!

Have you noticed her accent?

by Anonymous77 (not verified) on

The question I pose myself since the beginning: Is it Paulin's stupid "dontcha know" accent which makes her the most annoying presidential candidate ever? Honestly, I tried watching her GOP speech with an open mind but everytime she spoke, I wanted to punch her in the mouth. I know I'm not alone here. I'd rather have a Hilary Clinton/Monica Lewinsky ticket than the hellish fakery that is John McCain and his robot subordinate Palin. Ugh, Palin... what a two-face. So who else here hates her and why?

The article is not on every campaign expenditures. It's on the personal use of a federal money by Palin for her and her family!

Extremists like one another

by Ardil (not verified) on

I don't know if you have noticed but extremists like one another, no matter on what each of them believe on exactely. For example, when Ahmadinejad gathered his alienated hosts to negate the hollocaust. There were pure chief rabbis who attended the conference! Zion any suggestions?

For this reason I think that the IRI regime would be more on peace with McCain and his acolyte Palin than with Obama. So be cool, let baraccuda and McSame come to power, for us every thing will be all right.

by κορίτσι (not verified) on

This woman is beyond the red line, her ignorance and preconception of things make her more dangerous than a pittbul on the hands of McSame. For example she believes that God gave the task to Americans to invade, attack and occupy Iraq, to kill over 1,000,000 Iraqis, to ruin many millions of lives, and to destroy the country.

Like McSame she's for 4 more years of the continuation of Bush governance with a new add of swindling and thievery: what a panel!

If you have something to say, contact WP editorial board which published the news.

If they respond, let us know what --  just for that we make our day. Else, your problem of yourself is that beside your lack of education you're stupid too! That's the problem of many of your species like Mahmoud, Bush, etc ... Well as the adage says you unfortunately can't always get what you want...

By choosing Palin as a possible VP McCain tries to attract democrat white american women who have been disapointed of Obama's appointment. If the mafia-fascist gang of Cheney and Co. take the power for another 4 years I don't know in what disaster human being would be pushed to.

Education is important

by TheTaxMan (not verified) on

It is perfectly fine and legal to make such deductions. In fact you would be stupid for not doing so. IRS is not a charity organziation.

Before you post such none-sense reports with the aim of character assasination, go read the IRI tax guide handbook. Educate yourself. Don't get overly exited.

Obama owed the government $277,000 in 2006.

Obama owed $430,000 to the government in 2005.

So this guy ends up owing money to the IRS year after year. I bet the $430,000 he owed made a lot of interest income for him while he had possession of that money.

And what about us? Do we have such privileges? Why our money is deducted and "held" by the IRS for more than a year and "returned" to us as a refund with no interest? Why can't we invest it like Obama does his money?

Why could Obama keep the $430,000, probably make huge interest income on it, and then pay the IRS the following year, while we can't do the same with our $20,000 that we owe to the IRS?

Answer: Because there are loopholes that we the middle class workers can't use to our advantage. It is completely legal for Obama to use the IRS loopholes and rules to his advantage as I described above. So is for Palin.

Do educate yourself. Don't humiliate yourself by showing off your ignorance.

Thank you.
