Local staff members at the British Embassy in Tehran have been arrested after the recent unrest surrounding the disputed presidential election, the Foreign Office in London tells CNN, confirming earlier reports from Iran's government-backed Press TV.
Last week, Tehran expelled two British diplomats. London responded by kicking out two Iranian envoys. Iran then recalled its ambassador to Britain, saying it would reconsider its diplomatic ties with the United Kingdom.

The cowardly act
by Mazdak (not verified) on Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:42 AM PDTNote that the Islamic cowards, in their attempt to manufacture a crisis a la the Hostage Crisis, to justify their ruthless oppression, have arrested the local staff, not the British staff. How cowardly and despicable!
