Mullahs Have Played the U.S. For 30 Years

If the Mullahs know one thing, it is that they can not negotiate or indeed trust the U.S. If the Shah was their servant and betrayed so badly; and if one million casualties came out of the the Iran-Iraq war which was precipitated by the U.S. All these overtures by the U.S. is being accepted with a mixture or contempt and amusement by the Mullahs in Iran...sanctions or no sanctions. Nothing of substance will ever come of it. There is fundamentally no trust.
