It should be noted that one of the James Bond movies Starring Roger Moore in the Title Role: The Man With The Golden Gun [3] (1973) was to initially be shot partly in Iran but production abandoned the idea due to tensions in the middle east over the Israeli Egyptian Conflict and it was finally decided to relocated the story in South East Asia and Hong Kong.
