Wikipedia [1]: Namjoo was born in 1976 in the city of Torbat-e Jam, Iran and began his musical training at the age of 12, studying under Nasrollah Nasehpoor until the age of 18. In 1994 he was offered admission to study Theater and Music at Tehran University. Since the music program at the university wouldn't start for another year he first joined the theater course.
