* Change for Equality: Raheleh Asgarizadeh and Nasim Khosravi contacted their family members on Sunday February 17, 2008 to inform them that they had been transferred to Evin’s public ward 3. Ali Vaezipour, Nasim’s husband explains: "Nasim called me last night and today from prison. She was in good spirits and explained that female prisoners there are treating her and Raheleh very well." In relation to the bail amount set for Nasim, Mr. Vaezipour explains: "I am a general physician and with limited income, so I cannot come up with the 20 million Tomans (roughly $22,000) bail amount set for her release. As such, I will try to convince the courts to reduce the bail amount to a third-party guarantee." >>> FULL TEXT

Haji Agha your are the sickest
by Anonymous3210 (not verified) on Tue Feb 26, 2008 11:40 AM PSTMr Haji Agah,
All your problem comes from not having a woman in your life! Let me tell you sicko, the way you present yourself, no way any woman with a normal state of mind would come around you. You have been talking these garbage for years and still struggling with the same life! Don't you think it is time for you to make some changes? In your life style, mentality and whatever!
Go and get education, go to school, learn something. Get a new skill.
Where are heading in your life?!
How long do you want to continue this??
Its time to grow up...
by Unregistered Chicken (not verified) on Fri Feb 22, 2008 04:49 AM PSTAs a woman it is so disturbing to read some of the comments in this section... Anyway here is my response to Haji Agha & Torpedo-like Dick.
First of all its non of your business whether woman should stay at home or not. The past has gone where woman were uneducated and had to sit at home waiting for their husband! Today most women have a good degree under their belt, have good jobs, & can live independent of their husbands. This Independence makes some men go crazy! (Take it or lose it: Please don't treat your "Lady" the way your father used to treat your mother!)Hint: If you want a woman in your life don't ever under estimate her power... Respect it and you will gain a lot!
Secondly Haji agha, the way you are, if a woman says hi to you, I would doubt her brain. So please don't expect too much...
Thirdly Haji agha its evident in your English writing that you are a very slow learner! You write worse than a 7 years old. Its hard to believe that you have been living in Canada for 1 month let alone 12 years!! So I would suggest you go learn English before commenting on women's rights!
I wish Raheleh Asgarizadeh and Nasim Khosravi all the very best. They have done a great job up to now. But unfortunately they have a very hard task to do, fight for women's rights in a country were women have been subject to discrimination for years. It's very normal to be discriminated against if you are a female in Iran. Therefore its very hard to fight against something which is so called NORMAL!!!!
Hoder v. Hajiagha
by ManofIdeas (not verified) on Thu Feb 21, 2008 03:31 PM PSTI think iranian.com should moderate a debate b/n Hajiagha & Hoder. I guarantee 100 times more hits per hour than you get in a day. Plus we'll all figure out what's wrong with western imperialism, Iranian feminists, Canada, US and the rest of us who don't see the truth. I wonder if Hajagha is also a post-structuralist.
Be real
by Sanity (not verified) on Thu Feb 21, 2008 02:49 PM PSTAnd I suppose you decide who is 'decent' and who isn't. Right?
Haji Agha
by Torpedo-like Dick (not verified) on Thu Feb 21, 2008 09:07 AM PSTHaji, I hear you brother, I hear you. It is not easy to masturbate all these years. But that is life, some just masturbate and some get married to ruin their lives. You are probably better off now....
However, remember that women and USA and Canada are really not free, they are something but I don't know if that is freedom.
Either way, I agree that women are better off to stay home, raise kids, have fun and do gardening and be a good wife, than going out and get exposed to men who are after other men's wives! That sounds like an idea, doesn't it?
Hajiagha because of reasons you state Iran is what it is today.
by Anonymouse on Thu Feb 21, 2008 05:16 AM PSTHaji yesterday you were asking Bush to bomb Iran. Now you are approving Islamic Republic to oppress women more. Why do you want to jump around so much? all because of getting laid?! you don't want that either. We found you a woman and you said peef peef no I don't want a woman. You are not being funny.
ha ha ha so funny
by hajiagha on Wed Feb 20, 2008 09:02 PM PST//hajiagha.tripod.com
I like that women in Iran should be under discrimination because look in Canada soon the women get in power and respect they are changing , no dating man, not getting mared, they are want to control every things, so much money get waste by women , fancy shopping, lips color's....why God created women to get and play with toy's, why i should wish to women get free to harm me? I am not stupid man, 12 years in Canada never had a single chance to any women date me or tell me hi you a good guy, all of them are looking for money, power, nice cars.....
And why not ?
by Majid on Wed Feb 20, 2008 05:39 PM PSTIt's a crime to be a FEMALE under IRI, and like that's not enough, they are activists for female's rights ????
Let them free NOW! They're sentenced for the first crime already, for the rest of their lives !
When Mahmood was asked for gay's rights in Iran, he said : "we don't have them in Iran" !
Now, he will say : "we don't have women in Iran either" and " We don't have students in Iran as well, instead we have Mullah's rights coming out the yang yang"

شرم بر حکومت آخوندی که اینچنین وحشیانه و زننده با انسان های بیگناه رفتار میکند.
Sanity, did you read "charlatans"?
by Be Real (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 03:11 PM PSTYes, charlatans. If they are decent local business persons or clergymen, they are not part of clan of these bastards.
Be a bit open minded
by Sanity (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 02:55 PM PSTWhat do you have against bazaaris and clergymen? Aren't you being bigoted and prejudicial? You simply echo the exact sentiment that the current regime projects against its opponents. Open your mind a little and consider what you are writing. Think!
Iran is ruled by butchers, smugglers, bazari & Haj charlatans.
by Be Real (not verified) on Wed Feb 20, 2008 01:46 PM PSTWe need to be real. Our Iran is ruled by butchers, smugglers, bazari and Haj charlatans.
