by Obama McCain (not verified) on Sat Jul 26, 2008 01:11 PM PDTI'm not counting Obama out. If it was me to choose the lesser or 2 evils, I'd choose Obama. I think he's a much better candidate than the "Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran" guy. McCain was much more different 8 years ago when he ran against Bush initially. He's changed quite a bit as Power can change a man very rapidly.
I call myself Muslim though a very unreligious one. I am not even Iranian. As someone has said Barak's middle name is Hossain and by no means is that a reason to vote for someone without looking at his issues first.
Anyway, all I am saying is politicians usually disappoint. There are very few politicians that actually care about people...most of them answer to different things such as greed, power, money, women.
The ones in this world that actually care about people never seem to get elected. The media always finds something wrong about them.
I don't remember the exact quote, but I believe Henry Kissinger has said something like power being the ultimate aphrodisiac. That is true as power and money can make the ugliest man very handsome in a woman's eyes at the same time it can also change a man from what he once believed into something completely different.
To "Obama McCain"
by aaminian on Sat Jul 26, 2008 01:40 AM PDTHi There,
You're obviously far ahead of most of the younger "commentators" on this site. Let's not count Obama out quite yet though! Everything that I've read about him so far suggests that he will try to do the right thing if elected. The only thing that I suspect he may do wrong is to provide preferential treatment towards African Americans and disregard the rest of us. Let's hope for the best.
They are all the same
by Obama Mcain (not verified) on Sat Jul 26, 2008 12:22 AM PDTBush Obama McCain Ahmedinejad....they are all politicians...all liars...I don't think it matters who you vote for...their policy is controlled by higher powers such as the lobbyists, large businesses...
Ahmedinejad is controlled by Khamenei...but the President of US is controlled by various lobbyists...which is less evil?? One answers to God supposedly...the other answers to money...

WHY IS IT THAT YOU MUSLIMS
by AZ SHOMA BEHTAROON (not verified) on Fri Jul 25, 2008 07:59 PM PDTWHY IS IT THAT YOU MUSLIMS LIKE OBAMA, HE DENIES BEING ONE OF YOU.
GO MCBUSH
Go OBAMA!
by aaminian on Fri Jul 25, 2008 04:27 PM PDTIf/when Obama wins, a new era in the history of the world will begin. That will be a much bigger event than any others in the history of the US; bigger than the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln, MLK, and JFK all put together although it was the works of those great leaders that paved the way for Obama. The US will definitely regain its temporarily-lost global status as the world leader. He'll have a lot of obstacles to reach the White House though.
