Good to hear: "Seltzer said she felt less alone in protesting the war because of “a critical mass of Jews speaking out. Many of her peers, she said, have started feeling more comfortable voicing their feelings because of “social media, and seeing the images from Gaza.”

It really has been great. An old high school friend of mine who happens to be Jewish started to share and comment on posts that were blowing the cover off of Israel's propaganda after she had publicly declared she was torn on the subject because she is Jewish. But once she realized the truth of it all, she knew where she must stand as a human being and stood her ground even after a few friends of hers posted comments telling her she 'should be ashamed of herself'. So however many people FB and the like helped wake up, is that many people more on the right side of history - Always a good thing :)

Social media has also blown the cover from those who refuse to take a stand because they have their own interests to protect. It's funny watching them publicly oppose the republicans on immigrant children instead, thinking this makes up for and gets them off the hook of keeping quiet on Palestine's children. They need to be reminded of Martin Luther King: "In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."

Thanks for sharing LadyMacbeth! Finally, the day is upon us where big media no longer controls the narrative, shoving their tired propaganda/agenda down our throats 24/7.

A standing ovation celebrating everyone's social media contributions is in order...come on people, get off your seats and stand-up already! ;)
