1) Are Democratic systems of Government really the answer?
2) Do officials really listen to the people who vote for them?
3) Does voting officials out really change anything?
4) Does the increasing Gap between a few rich and masses of poor in democratic systems really prove that democratic systems are better than authoritiarian systems which help create the largest growth rate in middle class in the world, like the shah in the 1970's and his team? I don't know about you, but I answered No to all 4. Asking your own questions is just as important as finding the real answers.
Having a democratic system in place when people are starving and homeless, uneducated, easily misinformed and poor is this the solution?
Has it worked for resource rich countries like Nigeria?
Has it worked for Argentina?
Are Systems of People Power even working for the people of Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy etc?
30 to 70% unemployment, who needs a job anyway right, having a job has nothing to do with people power right?
Iranians should have been far more intelligent and thoughtful before they acted so ungratefully and gutlessly against the late shah, who many of them betrayed. He was authoritiarian, never autocratic and after all the good his team did for Iran and helping create the wealthiest and largest growth in middle class in the world, his reward was being intentionally misrepresented by the IRI and those that helped the IRI come to power and disingenuously misrepresent his true record by labelling him a dictator, a crook, a despot and tyrant although it is clear he was none of the above.
I wonder "How Many'' here on IC know exactly ''how few'' people among Iranians today, HONESTLY believe the lies and political character assasinations against the Pahlavi's by those who either brought the IRI to power and don't question these words or anti-monarchists? With the exception of IRI supporters and anti-monarchists, my assertion is that NO ONE else BELIEVES these to be TRUE TODAY.
And that my fellow Iranians is an example of the Progress in the wisdom of Iranians as a result of having enjoyed Monarchy.
