A Syrian air defense base near the coastal city of Latakia was reportedly destroyed Wednesday night, with multiple Syrian and Lebanese sources speculating that an Israeli strike from the Mediterranean was to blame. There also may have been some sort of attack near the Golan Heights. For a live thread to a very good site on what’s going go here:
The Latakkia explosion is said to have occurred near Jableh which is just south of Latakia. From most maps I’ve seen the airport there is the regime’s sole airport on the coast. Looking it up, I find it has only one run-way. All those folks who talk of an Alawistan tied to Damascus never seem to consider that potential problem should the regime lose all its airbases. Nor do they think about the economy . Syria is broke, under sanctions and the coast would have lost all access to oil or to tourism.
THE REPORT ON KHEMENEI is not conclusive but cannot be ignored. You’ll find it here.

This is equivalent to dressing in enemy uniform—a total no-no. Unless maximum penalty is paid, Hezbollah will continue such tricks, having been given a free pass.
