No surprise, Iranian Freedom not part of historic US-Iran deal

Balatarin

Some of the best and brightest minds seem to have banded their ironically overly optimistic hopes together and bet the proverbial farm on the now legendary "Deal with Iran".

Surprisingly or not surprisingly even Fareed Zakaria the latest graduate of the Sanjay Gupta school of "How to succeed in American media". Although possessing an acceptably intelligent intellect, sadly even Zakaria seems to think there is hope. Or maybe that's just what the editors of Time magazine were expecting from their check and him in his overly optimistic piece.

None of these self appointed and white America anointed pundits gives one damn about the people of Iran mind you. The sole point and only purpose of their rah rah'ing now is to appear to be rooting for "a more safer world". The assumption and belief being suspended in all of this is that Iran is being stopped from developing the bomb.

And that is the Grand Illusion of 2014.

Worse than paid for pundits in their undies PR'ing on their iPads is the various governments painted into a singular object deigned to confuse everyone into changing the channel as soon as they come across the so called P5+1 thingey.

And this is a good thing too, because if anyone bothered to care once they were comfortably numbed into complacency and made mute by the assuring words "Deal with Iran".

None of this mind you or rather all of this is repositioned to completely ignore not just the rights of Iranians that since 1979 have been successfully trampled into a dust finer than the bones of Cyrus, but ironically along with the annoying hopes and dreams of Iranians to be free! the West and especially an increasingly ambivalent US is selling off any remnants of its claim to support the worlds huddled masses with long lost aspirations of freedom and democracy.

Indeed "Freedom's just another world for nothin' left to lose". In this case with the West perceiving they have "something to lose" if they don't get the barest verbal agreements from Iran now, hence the eagerness with which they are willing to abandon the Iranian people, a most easy sacrifice given their apparent inability to even mouth the words "Help Us" from behind their Bazari financed Chinese and Russian contractor built gilded cages.

Wait did he just say "gilded"? Yes he did. Have you seen Tehran and just about every major Iranian city recently? Go ahead Google Tehran -> Images. A recent arrival and his not surprisingly overweight wife said this just last week, "Everyone knows what's wrong, they are just too afraid to say anything." So yes, the cage is gilded.

To those of us who seem to be conscious and unplugged from this "Matrix" of delusion about the reality of what Iran is, the solution that seems most obvious is the truth.

Which is infuriatingly absent from any of the negotiations between these traditionally dishonest brokers.

Voy! Is an Iranian expression of great frustration. A play on the film and comic book adaptation "V is for Vendetta". Get it? Object to Iran, and put energy into Pragmatic (not reckless, dangerous or foolhardy) Opposition to it.

I pity the fools who actually tought and still think the west, americans, russia or china actually wants the best for the Iranian people, Lol.

Iranians need to get rid of this regime themselves and sanctions arent going to do a damn but just hurt the people. As I said before, organize unite and prepare yourself. Do not rely on world powers, super powers nor other countries cause all of them have an agenda.

Iranians can never do it by themselves(chg regime) :
1- no Unity amongst 'Persians'
2- Iranians in general are deeply corruptible & dishonest(effect of Islam?)
3- Iranians lost any virtue &/or integrity ever since nomadic Arabs with their highly dubious religion & promises defeated the Persian empire & forced (under sword) Iranians to denounce their allegiance to anything Persian- this was the seed of corruption & loss of integrity(when person lies about beliefs, can lie about anything; when a person has no belief, has no integrity)

now why should Farid Zakaria care about human right in Iran when Iranians do not care about it!

Dear Z,
It goes without saying that the primary purpose of the Islamists was supposed to be an all-out war on imperialism. But in the end that joke was/is on average Iranians.

Indeed, political Islam has been busy "fighting" Western powers since its first inception in India (resulting in split of India & creation of Pakistan), Wahabisim in Arabia, Ekhvan in Egypt, Hamas in Palestine, Hojatieh in Iran...there are clear patterns of how they were propped up to counter Nationalist & Left forces in every Middle Eastern country.
Political Islam in Iran however has been able to stay in power only through use of brutal violence & even that seems to have been exhausted by now.
Welcome to the end of political Islam in Iran!

Zakaria is a closet islamist himself. I remember during the 2009 and 2010 protests he saod live on t.v that the government had most of the support from the people outside of Iran therefore no revolution was going to take place. He is a liar and a cheat whos just trying to become more famous and make more money.

Zakaria has been peddling policy of appeasing the Khamenei regime for long time. He is pro- Mullah.

Zakaria is pro-himself/his own pocket book. Americans love to say, "I'm doing my job." Farid Zakaria too is doing his job. What counts for him most is the paycheck at the end of the month.

It's a bit surprising no one has mentioned the proverbial "bucket of gold," at the end of negotiations "rainbow" waiting for the Western powers; an untapped market of seventy five million consumers & all those investment opportunities.
And what's more important than making money for Western (or for that matter any) government?
We all know the answer.

"The Western powers currently negotiating on the nuclear issue with the clerical regime - without even mentioning the countless human rights abuses in Iran - will bear some culpability for the executions that continue in Iran." I totally support this line of thought, regardless of how some Iranians do not genuinely care about nor have they ever done anything to improve human rights in Iran.

While the power of western media on the people of the west and then through the people eventually on Iranians is immense, it is a deceitful and manipulative power for great evil that is helping to carry out the objectives and interests of western corporations not Iranian People. So I also strongly support this view. "It is up to all Iranians to remind the progressive societies around the world which Iran was once a part of that they can play an important part in abolishing the death penalty and the banning of the stoning in the twenty first century and to ask their citizens and politicians to support the human rights for all Iranians." Political Islam has failed and will be taken down one way or another, Iranians have the possibility to make that day come sooner.
