Aberdeen City Council accused of 'attack' on Israel | Evening Express

ABERDEEN City Council has been accused of making an “attack” on the state of Israel by flying a Palestinian flag from the Town House, the Evening Express can reveal today.

The flag was flown as a show of support for the UN International Day of Solidarity.

New documents released today reveal that the UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) organisation raised concerns ahead of the flying of the flag, arguing that it could be seen as an “attack by the city council on the state ...

I lived in Israel when over 50,000 black Ethiopian Jews were airlifted into Israel in 1984, and many ended up in my neighborhood in Beersheba. Nice people. Good people. Today there are over 120,000 black Ethiopian Jews as well as other non-Jewish black citizens, including black "Arabs" originally from the Sudan. But these 60,000 Eritrean and Sudanese Muslim infiltrators are totally illegal infiltrators. Just a few weeks back, the Saudis deported 120,0000 Africans from Saudi Arabia with barely a comment in the press. Why doesn't Iran offer to take in some of these refugees? It's a huge country. Why should tiny countries like Israel or even Sweden have to bear so much of the refugee burden? Why not the Arabs countries or Iran? They are illegal infiltrators who must be sent back to their homelands as soon as feasible but those Muslim countries don't have diplomatic relations with the Jewish state and are happy to download as many burdens on Israel and the West as possible.

Did you participate in burning and destroying Palestinians' olive grooves?
Did you serve in the racist criminal Israeli army shooting at and arresting young Palestinian kids?
How many heads did you smash?
How many houses did you bulldozed?
Did you kill any of those 'native Palestinian Arabs'?

Private property is respected in Israel, but if terrorists use olive groves to shoot from, then sometimes they have to be removed for public safety.
And there are no "native Palestinians" but only Arabic speaking peoples living on sovereign Jewish soil.

Israel's occupation and oppression of the Palestinians will come to an end too, just like all the racist criminal regime of the world.
Every story has a beginning, a middle and an end.
Israel is no different either.

The Arab occupation of other people's lands will come to an end. And we see that happening soon.

jgarbuz an staunch defender of the criminal racist government of Israel says he lived in 'Beersheba' occupied Palestinian land.
I wonder if he participated in any of the following criminal activities:

"Early in 2003 the Sharon government initiated a five-year plan, with a budget of US$ 100 million to Judaize the Beer Sheba district. This includes a plan to establish 14 new Jewish colonies, increase the power of the Green Patrol, and erase the 46 unrecognized villages. The first colony to be built is slated to be built on the land of Araqeeb village, the site of a massacre of Palestinians by Zionist/ Israeli forces in 1948.

I wonder if he participated in any of the following activities:

2 April, Tulkarem RC
4 April, Nuseirat RC and Jenin RC
6 April, Rafah RC (Block J), 1 wounded
10 April, Rafah RC (Block L), 1 injured
15 April, Balata RC
16 April, Rafah RC (Block O), 1 injured
17 April, Jenin RC. 1 child injured.
17 April, Rafah RC (Block O), 3 children injured
19 April, Rafah RC, 5 houses destroyed, 20 damaged. 5 killed, including 2 children and 30 wounded

First of all, I lived in Israel from 1982 to 1991. Second, Beersheva is a Hebrew and an ancient Hebrew city. The Bedouins only came into the region from Arabia some 200 years ago or so. My deceased mother in law delivered 15,000 Bedouin babies in Soroka hospital, the first hospital in the Negev's history.
Peronally I did not participate in any military actions whatsoever, as I was in the national guard but I never actually had to serve a day because of my age and physical condition.

Every town in Israel, be it majority Jewish or majority non-Jewish is located on sovereign Jewish soil. Just as every town in Iran, be it Muslim or non-Muslim is on sovereign Iranian soil. So to talk about "Jewish colonies" in the Land of Israel is absurd. It's like talking about Iranian colonies in Iran when they build a new town.

Palestinian flags have been posted all over North of Ireland, in Irish Republican communities for years now. Irish Republicans certainly don't limit their solidarity with Palestine to a single day!
P.S. Does anyone remember when Irish women attended that football match in Tehran?

jgarbuz

Too bad because the Jewish fight for independence came after the Irish fight for independence, and to me northern Ireland is like Judah and Samaria, which properly belong to the Jewish nation but are heavily occupied by old Arab settlers who now clam to be "Palestinians." The are like the English in northern Ireland.

Since you brought up the subject of English and teaching it

Did you have a Jewish teacher to teach you the English?

Is it "Clam" or claim ?!?!?!?!?

My aim is not to “get” you or anybody else for that matter, only to point out that we ought to look at things a bit more objectively. This aim is specially true in the case of politics and in relations to Israel foreign policy conducts in our discussion.

Fighting rampant racism in Israel (where blue eye blond non-Jews are more accepted than Black African Jews) would be a much better way to demonstrate your solidarity with oppressed people.
What do you think about all those Black Jews demonstrating for fair treatment in Israel?
And don't forget that "charity begins at home."

jgarbuz

jgarbuz

There are as many blue-eyed and blonde "Arabs" in Israel as there are Jews. Come and see. There are also black "Arabs" who were once slaves living with the Bedouins. I lived in Beersheba. Come and see.

Zendanian

Dear J you simple don't get the point. There is rampant racism prevalent in Israeli society. Charity begins at home. Before you could help anyone else you ought to help your own Black Jewish sisters and brothers that are being discriminated against in there.
Just in case you're still totally clueless about all of this, below is an Israeli source, check it out:

It's not what I saw or experienced living ten years in Israel. Quite the contrary, after so many years of wars imposed on Israel it is amazing to see so much benevolence towards Arabs.
