Fantastic! Jahhat blows up a Gestapo HQs in Harasta for third time in 14 months

Balatarin

On November 17th 2013, rebels killed over 200 Bad Guys including four generals when they totally leveled a transport base used as an intelligence HQ

On October, 2012 JAN targeted the same hated agency killing dozens of Bad Guys.

Today January 11th JAN  made it  a triple bagger, blowing up Gestapo HQ ( (otherwise known as Air Force Intelligence) in Harasta.   This video shows the bomber preparing to drive off a loaded truck, saying his last words etc.   The bombing itself occurs a little after 2:15 seconds into the film.  Here it is:

Harasta is located in a highly strategic location between Duma to the north and the Barzem, Qaboun/Jobar area to the south along the main Damascus/Homs road in the Rif Damashq governate.

In a regime whose ruling party was modeled on Hitler’s National Socialists and whose torture methods under the Air Force as was the case for the Gestapo in Nazi Germany.    Even the regime’s genocideal military strategy (concentrate on attacking civilians) is a blend of SS and Putin’s Chechnya tactics.

Meanwhile ISIS, supported by the Assad regime in Raqaa,  has attacked the rebels with several suicide bombers.  JAN can top ISIS at that game.

ASSAD REGIME IS SUPPLYING AL QUEDA/ISIS WITH ARMS TO FIGHT REBELS

BREAKING:

"URGENT: Reports that ISIS is supplied with weapons coming from Assad Ammunitions Storages in Hassakah to attack Rebels."—Tazi Morocco.

The Alawite Air Force has also assisted  Al Queda’s forces in Raqaa instead of fighting them.    Even while doing everything possible to aid Al Queda in Iraq, Assad has conned Obama, Rand Paul and others that “I’m the best weapon against Al Queda.

Very Important Question!  WAS IT A MISSILE OR A MANPADS THAT DOWNED A WARPLANE IN ALEPPO TODAY?

A report claims a missile downed a MIG in Aleppo today but it’s not clear whether it was a missile or a manpads.  The latter would be particularly bad news for the regime beause it would confirm the expected arrival of manpads in Aleppo.  If that has occurred and an outnumbered regime forces loose their air cover/supply source, the regime is in real trouble.

HERE ARE SOME ITEMS I PUT TOGETHER EARLIER.   WILL UPDATE SOON

ALEPPO:

#1: ISIS has reportedly taken 25 people (inc. activists) prisoner in Kabbasin, #Aleppo. Opposition sources say they’re used as human shields.

DAMASCUS

#1: Most reports here involve either clashes or bombardments with one exception—a number of regme forces were wiped out when they tried to enter the Yarmouk camp.

#2: The Alawite regime has forced merchants to paint regime flags on the ouside of their property.   After all, it is a dictatorship, is it not?

#3:  Al Gharib, a strong ISUS/Al Queda sympathizer, claims the regime has taken the Al Naqarin area.   I wouldn’t bet my house on that without further confirmation from more neutral sources.   In any event, the regime can’t hold it once rebels finish up in Raqaa.  Bigger peremiters = thinner defenses.

DARAA PROVINCE

Other than the usual clashes and regime shelling the major ground level developments are rebel offensive efforts against Brigade 82 near Nawa and against checkpoints in the Shekh Meskeen area.

HOMS PROVINCE

It is only a matter of time until rebels break the siege of Homs.  As Tazimorocco writes, “If Rebels manage to reach the "besieged" northern countryside of Homs, they will be able to launch large-scale offensive on the city itself.”

I’d change one word in his assessment.   Substitute “when” for “if.”  As in many locations where the regime is merely hanging on without advance, it is inevitable as attrition and morale problems continue to consume the regime.

RAQAA

#1: Isis reportedly took over the Tel Abyad area.

#2: Tahwid Brigade reinforcements arrived  tonight to take on ISIS/AL Queda, the regime’s ally.

REBELS DENY ASSAD FORCES TOOK NAQARRIN. FIGHTING CONTINUES

Source: Markito0171. On similar instances in the post, rebels have been about 90 percent reliable than regime forces. It they say “fighting continues” you bet it does. If the regime does take Naqarrin, you can also bet they’ll say so. Unlike the regime they don’t have an extensive history of denying defeats. In the latter case, the regime is unlikely to hold any seized (and larger) perimeters if rebels finish off ISIS/Al Queda.

Re: JAN’S THIRD-TIME DESTRUCTION OF A GESTAPO HQ IN HARASTA

I was starting to get worried about this report since one or two parties on rebel side often post old videos without saying they are old. It’s not that they attempt to pass such videos or reports off as current (the regime does this old the time) but that they don’t give any time at all. Also, some multi-lingual posters sometimes forget and post news in Arabic on a mainly English site where they usually post in English. Translations would help in these cases.

DUMAIR, NEAR ADRA, MAY BE IN REBEL HANDS

A report today mentions demonstrators in Dumair are demonstrating against a regime siege of the city. In that case, Dumair would be rebel held.

IDLIB AREA

Rebels have taken two villages south of Darkoosh and west of Idlib from ISIS.

ANOTHER MASS GRAVE OF ISIS/AL QUEDA VICTIMS LOCATED IN ALEPPO

Another mass grave has been discovered near the Breij Dawar. It has been recorded on video and it shows bodies hand shackled and summarily executed in 1 of Daesh liberated location (HalabToday). ISIS has consistently killed enemies of the Assad regime. What does that tell you?

REBELS MAY HAVE DOWNED A SECOND ALAWITE AIR FORCE PLANE TODAY

I reported the previous one in Aleppo and a serious question it has raised. Now there is an unconfirmed report that another aircraft has been downed near Deir Ezzor airport. The following site, though in Arabic, has a picture of the MIG trailing smoke and headed downward.

REASONABLE QUESTIONS PEOPLE NEED TO THINK ABOUT

Concerned with fighting the regimes, rebels had put up with ISIS’s backstabbing until its outrageous behavior vastly increased over the last three months or so. Someone needs to ask these questions:

1) Why would ISIS take such a risk at such a time?
2) Was it encouraged to do so by the regime?
3) In that case, does it not suggest the regime’s situation was getting desperate as well as confirming the Assad/Al Queda alliance?
4) If the regime has cooperated with ISIS/Al Queda as early as 2011 as much evidence indicates, could it have done so all this time without Putin and the IRI fully aware of what was going on and approving the same?
5) Doesn’t that make Obama and Ryan Crocker two-time suckers in falling for the Assad-Putin-Iran line that supporting the Assad regime is the best way to fight Al Queda.
Never forget that Assad especially and Iran to a lesser degree aided and encouraged Al Queda’s attacks on Americans in Iraq.

REBELS VS. ISIS/REGIME ALLIANCE (most recent items are last)

#1. Rebels have captured 21 ISUS fighters in Al Layramoun. Source: Markito0171
#2: ISIS has reportedly retaken the border town of Tal Abyed near Turkey and are blowing up buildings there. Holding it will be difficult however and useless to the degree Turkey closes border posts.
#3: Rebels claim Alawite Air Force has been assisting Al Queda/ISIS in Saraquib as well as Raqaa. In Saraquib convoys of rebel reinforcements have arrived from the South.
#4: Wherever ISIS withdraws or assaults they are always covered by the Alawite Air Force, rebels say.
#5: ISIS’ leader in Iraq is now in Raqaa. Clearly the interests of the Assad regime and of al-Maliki in Iraq are contrary in this case.
#6: Photo of men summarily executed by ISIS before leaving Aleppo.

#7: Most recent report is that ISIS has now retreated again from large parts of Raqaa.
#8: Islamic Front has taken Qabasin, north east of ISIS-controlled Al Bab and taken 30 ISIS prisoners.

http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=36.431642&lon=37.568779&z=12&m=b

#9: Islamic Front has also taken an ISIS barrier in Saraqeb. Clashes continued in the sw area of the city. While rebels were attacking here and in Raqaa Assad was assisting Al Queda by dropping barrel bombs. IF OBAMA IS REALLY OPPOSED TO AL QUEDA, HE SHOULD PUT AN END TO THAT!

#11: Rebels in Saraqeb have now taken over 100 ISIS prisoners. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Middle-East/2014/Jan-11/243797-syria-jihadists-kill-5-rebels-in-bombing-activists.ashx#axzz2q71ljX2C

#12: Three more reports on Assad's Alawite Air Force teaming up with Al Queda against rebels.

Note also the obvious coordination btw ISIS attacks on Islamic Front and the Regime Offensive on Naqareen in Aleppo as Tazimorocco points out.
