Today on planet NIAC, peace, or "Peace" is on sale. All you have to do to buy peace is sell your freedom. Which is reasonable to NIAC. I mean it's not like you are using your freedom for anything anyway, and mostly it just sits in the corner of your 3rd car garage gathering dust, and moss. And mold. Next to the treadmill you never use.
Today's latest offer from NIAC is a simple one. Sign their pre-written petition which largely states; "I support a peaceful solution with Iran, I do not want another war." Which is grammatically incorrect, since it implies that Iranians wanted a previous war with Iran, but that this time, we don't want this additional war with Iran.
I know this is semantic on my part, possibly pedantic too. But if we intend to speak and write English petitions, I would hope we would want to do it correctly. For example you don't see me writing incorrect Farsi (a lot). Certainly I don't use Farsi for the real important stuff. Like on the internet. That and apparently Farsi is largely wasted on most Iranians.
But punctuation, clarity, and national linguistic pride asion the one hand, NIAC wants you to put aside everything else you might want, and once again, do as you are told, as they see fit, and now just shut up and listen and blindly support the continued damnably ignorant US-Iran negotiations and their singular true purpose which is to use 'Diplomacy" to help Iran and the US to find a way to live together, make some much needed money for the various backroom players and key negotiators on both sides, AND allow Iran to continue developing nuclear material. Whose ONLY purpose is to build a bomb.
I know, I know, those of you who always do, will now argue that Iran has never been proven to be seeking a bomb and the usual apologizes that follows the most cowardly gullible portion of our fast fading society. You would still like to give this Iran (of all Irans) the benefit of your doubt. And require people like me to do the same. I wish I could. Clearly, unlike me, you haven't seen enough Iranian on Iranian rape and murder and crime, apparently to convince you yet. No problem, take all the time you need.
Although can you hurry it up? We are running out of it.
Additionally, if Iran was really concerned about "Energy", it would buy about 1500 of GE's top of the line Generators and could even sell the electricity to the Gulf states as much needed hard currency non-oil derived revenue. None of the reactors built so far have any serious power-up capacity, compared to the 700 years of proven natural gas reserves that Iran has to fire up GE generators. By merely turning on a very safe tap.
Did I mention GE enough? Because that is a lot of carrots with almost no stick. Certainly a lot of lettuce.
Since the plans Iran is using to develop nuclear "power" are the same outdated plans the nuke-seeking Shah had drawn up, and was about to implement in order to get in on the Cold War action he was watching play out between the US and the USSR, directly in his own back yard, I will now call "LIAR!!!" on Iran's false bearded claims otherwise today.
But back to NIAC and why they confound me, or think any of us are this stupid, gullible and willing to sell off our aspirations of freedom, just to help this Iranian government gain strength and continue to curse us, instead of collapse and allow us to get on with our true destiny.
That NIAC does not see how making the Iranian government stronger, actually harms us.
I know that the argument NIAC makes is a reasonable one. But to me at least, it is a naive one. But it could very well work in theory. Just not practically. The idea is this; by getting the US and Iran to discuss "differences", war with Iran is averted (not that the US can afford the PTSD and other mental health care costs of another war for decades to come, possibly forever), and that once war with Iran is off the table, "other things" can be discussed. I'm guessing NIAC means "reform". because NIAC subtly hints at it every 4th or 5th paragraph. Although NIAC is careful to NEVER mention the one and only thing ALL Iranians (hyphenated and over caffeinated outside of Iran, and comatose and heavily sedated inside Iran) actually want. Which is freedom and a secular somewhat democratic government instead of old folks telling young folks to hate Jews, what to wear, and not to dance in public (so much).
NIAC never mentions or admits or lifts the slightest manicured fingernail to fight for that which we don't have. Yet they continue to solicit funds, and argue the most embarrassingly moronic positions one can imagine. Stunningly insulting words that come out of unequally oppressed NIAC mouth like this, are simply unacceptable.
That NIAC thinks that you can calm a deadly hornet's nest by offering them a bit more honey.
You can't. When you capitulate with this evil Iranian government, you make them stronger. More convinced they are right and YOU have come around to their way of thinking. The suggestion that somehow by the US caving in now, and reducing the sanctions, that Iran respects the US this time is retardedly ludicrous. An insult to ludicrously retarded people in fact. And proven so, by the Tehran boys choir singing an emotional arrangement of "Marg Bar Amrika", a-capella, in public. Clearly meant to re-affirm the national mantra of hatred, on the day of the equally staged revolution celebrations. This very week!
So, go ahead, sign NIAC's petition, and continue to delude yourself that it is helping things calm down. But know this, you are signing it with the blood of your own, and you are signing away your soul to boot. All so that the illegitimate and powerful in Iran can continue to spew their hatred in your capitulating name, and argue the most ridiculous proposition, that somehow God now wants Iran to hate everyone into submitting to their will and the new world order they think is written in the romantic poetry of the Quran. As big a failure as that has been.
As these negotiations are sadly proving. It's working.
Our position as free-Iranians outside of Iran, or free-thinking Iranians inside Iran should be that we will not accept any details, minor items, trade terms, IAEA inspections, unverifiable % of enrichment limits, or any other negotiations that do not first define Iran as an illegitimately ridiculous state, and acknowledge the criminal oppression of Iranians, from being free.
On the side of Uncle Sam who has been painted as a less than honorable, inappropriate touching uncle in this, anything less than acknowledge in the right to Iranian freedom now, is another point in favor of continued brutal dictatorship, and a complete abdication of the US' claim as "...the defender of freedom and liberty in the world."
Since certainly this all sounds ridiculous and idealistic to you readers (and I'm sure NIAC is snickering too), juts look at how far we are from our own rectifiable truth. That we would call a simple exclamation and aspiration to be free and liberated, ridiculous and idealistic.
