Led by its younger population, revolutionary changes are under way in Iran, an author and researcher said Thursday during an address to the World Affairs Council in Camarillo. “The government sees things from a religious and geopolitical aspect, but the real change is happening with this youthful social revolution,” said Pardis Mahdavi, whose new book, “Passionate Uprisings: Iran’s Sexual Revolution,” resulted from her seven years of field studies in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
