Last weekend, I went to see “Valkyrie”. I was anticipating its opening. I like Tom Cruise and I love history and politics!
I have done a lot of research on societal illnesses and how societies rise and fall. The stories of Iran and Germany and how they allowed regimes like the Nazis and IRI to take over their country are fascinating. I have concluded that IRI is pretty much a modern version of Nazi Germany. They have a lot in common. Here are just 10 of them:
1- They are repressive and regressive, brutal, and inhumane regimes.
2- They are both led by god-like tyrants whom thirst for killing is rarely seen in history. Hitler in Germany and Khomeini/Khamenei in Iran.
3- They both came to power and remained by using xenophobia and blaming the society’s shortages on foreign elements. I need to say here that the Nazis made a much better case in that regards than the IRI.
4- They both promote an ideology of “hatred” and “conflict between civilizations”.
5- They both engage in genocide, the Nazis against Jews, and IRI against Bahais and Kurds and Balouchs.
6- They have both provoked other countries to attack them.
7- They both have a “fundamentalist” view of the world.
8- They both became the center of chaos and instability in the world.
9- They both have anti-Semitic agendas.
10- They both have an official “ideology of the state”. Not following that ideology could result in death.
Of course there are more. There is one that they don’t have in common just yet, but my fear is for that to change, and that is, they both have and will cause world wars. The IRI regime is doing its darn best to start one. For Iran and world’s sake, I hope it fails.
