In a recent interview with the Turkish NITV network, Iran’s NSC Secretary Ali Larijani accused the United States of providing undue favors to the Shah, noting “while they signed an agreement with the Shah’s regime on nuclear energy they have tried to punish the Iranian people who had toppled the Shah’ regime.”
