i have noticed that more and more of my friends and family members are coming to my store to do their shopping. at first i thought that they are just coming to see me and to chat. but they had never done this before. sometimes i would not see these guys for weeks and now they are practically living in my store. i am not complaining. so i decided to ask one of them to tell me what was going on. the answer floored me. well, he told me, the economy is so bad and lousy that we as friends and family have decided to only shop for all our needs from our family members and friends. but you spend so much time traveling to come here, i said. it is worth it, he said. he also said: in these hard times it feels good and is a sound thing to do to help our family and friends. we are going to buy all these things any way, so why not buy them from people we know and care about? we will all benefit and it is also a good excuse to see each other more often. i tell you, these are decent people with golden hearts and minds.
