Along with thousands of other Iranians and non-Iranians in 30 cities across the US, I will attend a rally in support of Iranian people in San Francisco today, July 25th, 2009 from 12:00 until 4:300 p.m. The rally will take place at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza. Take BART and get off at the Civic Center Station (or see here for directions). There is a long list of Iranian activists, intellectuals, and artists who will be speaking and performing. Among them are Shirin Ebadi, Ross Mirkarimi, Bahram Moshiri, Fatemeh Haghighatjoo, Banafsheh Akhlaghi, and Reese Erlich. Hamed Nikpay, Kiosk, and Shams Ensemble will perform. Come and join this historic event, spend time with fellow Iranians, and support human and civil rights for Iran. See you there!
